Technical and economic study mission for the Kairouan rail service from Enfidha
The railway service to the city of Kairouan originates at the Menzel El Mahatta station and totals a linear distance of 48 km.
It includes the construction of a railway platform with two traffic lanes, the construction of forty (40) hydraulic and drainage structures, the construction of the Kondar and Kairouan stations and the G'mara, B'chachma and Fatnassa stops and the construction of twenty-six (26) structures for the leveling of the railway line at the level of large flows and the main roads crossed.
The mission is split into three phases:
Phase 1 - Technical Study (ET) including:
- Data collection and field surveys
- Geometric studies with search for alternative routes
- Hydrological and hydraulic studies
- The environmental impact study
- The preparation of pre-measurements and the estimation of the work
Phase 2 - Economic Study (EE) including:
- Establishment of economic and socio-economic assessments of route variants
- Assessment of the economic and financial profitability of the project
Phase 3 - Request for Proposals for Studies (DAOE) including:
The preparation of the call for tender for carrying out the studies necessary to launch the call for tenders concerning the implementation of the project.
