Widening works of the A1 Turki - Hammamet motorway (Lot 1)
The project consists of upgrading the A1 motorway to 2x3 lanes on the section located between the interchange of the sports city of Radès and Hammamet Sud at the level of the BarraketEssahel interchange. It also consists of the development of the emergency lane, the extension of certain bridges and the strengthening of water drainage networks.
The project is split into two lots: Tunis-Turki lot over 30 km, and Turki-BaraketEssahel lot over 21 km.
The works consist of:
- Widening and strengthening of the motorway platform (roadways and outbuildings),
- The extension of existing hydraulic and drainage structures (single and multiple scuppers),
- Drainage and sanitation of the highway platform,
- Redevelopment of the entrance and exit ramps at the interchanges,
- Vertical signage work, road markings and the installation of safety devices.
