Study for the repair of landslide points on classified roads in the Governorate of Jendouba - Lot 5
The mission entrusted to the Ceta office covers the treatment of twelve (12) landslide points on classified roads and rural routes in the Governorate of Jendouba.
The project also provides for the rectification of road layouts in landslide zones, the reinforcement of existing platforms and the design of protection structures and hydraulic structures.
Given the geotechnical and topographical conditions of the site, the Ceta design office opted for a solution to reconstitute the platform by purging the soft materials that had been washed away by the slip and replacing them with a selected backfill compacted by layer and supported by a massive reinforced by layers of metal mesh with a gabion facing.
On the upstream side, given the small dimensions of the current platform, and with the objective of ensuring traffic during the works phase, a widening on the upstream side was selected while providing for a gabion support of variable height depending on the topography.
